Dr Rikin Patel joined Dental Arts Studio in 2011. Graduating from Cardiff University Dental School with a First Class Honours Degree in 2007, he comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in general dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative treatments, metal free dentistry and in addition also has interests in both Periodontics (gum disease) and Orthodontics (braces).
In 2009, Rikin further completed his MFGDP (Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice) offered by the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He further continues to keep himself up to date with the latest techniques in dentistry by undertaking numerous postgraduate training courses and applies these principals in his daily practice.
Since 2011 Rikin is also an accredited dentist for invisible braces (Invisalign®). To further improve his knowledge in orthodontics, he has also undertaken training in Six Moths smiles and Fastbraces. He has completed the world renowned Certificate course in Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry, run by Dr Chris Orr in London.
Rikin prides himself in ensuring that all his patient visits are made as relaxed and comfortable as possible. He combines new age dentistry, experience and a gentle touch to provide every one of his patients with customised and exceptional preventive, restorative and cosmetic dental care. Outside of dentistry, Rikin enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid traveller and photographer.
