We hope you and your family are in good health.
Due to the new lockdown imposed on us tonight by the prime minister, we wanted to give you a quick update on what it means regarding dentistry in general.
We have confirmation from Mrs Sara Hurley, The Chief Dental Officer England, that dental services are to remain open and see patients as during the last period of national restrictions. The government guidance on the national lockdown says, “The majority of public services will continue and you will be able to leave home to visit them. These include the NHS and medical services like GPs and dentists”. Dentistry is an essential medical service. It is a priority for the NHS. Patients are entitled to travel for medical appointments, including dental visits.
In short: we’re still open and if you’ve visited us in the past few months, you’ll find the experience to be pretty much the same as with the other Tier restrictions in place.
We are still running with a decreased capacity as we must allow additional time for cleaning and preparation. We recommend booking an appointment within good time to ensure availability. You can book an appointment with us by phone or email.
Please be reassured if you have any further questions, concerns or dental emergencies to call the practice or contact us via email:
Rest assured that we have all the necessary PPE and routines to keep you safe and to be able to deliver a safe treatment to you during your visit.
We look forward to seeing you.
