Dr Patel qualified in 1999 from Guy’s, King’s College and St Thomas’ Hospitals’ Dental School with honours and multiple prizes attained over every year at undergraduate level.
Bavisha’ has a special interest in minimally invasive and preventative dental techniques.
After qualifying Dr Patel completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery House Officer post at Guy’s Hospital, which entailed performing surgical procedures and assisting in major head and neck cancer resection cases. She went on to complete a rotation in Restorative Dentistry, participating in Specialist Consultation Clinics and providing treatment under sedation for special needs patients.
Dr Patel is a highly competent and experienced clinician after having spent the past 15 years working in General Dental Practice providing both NHS and Private Dental Care. She adopts a holistic approach to patients and prides herself at being able to convert highly anxious patients into confident regular attenders.
Most recently she has fulfilled an honorary clinical teaching post at Guy’s Dental School helping to train, support and mentor dental students.
Bhavisha likes to spend her spare time travelling with her young family, introducing them to different cultures, foods and traditions.
She is also a member of a street dance group, which indulges her 3 passions in life; socialising, music and dancing!
