Periodontology
The diagnosis and management of periodontal conditions.
Rupal qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2004, passing with honors. This was followed by a year working as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer at Chase Farm Hospital. During this year she was awarded the MFDS Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rupal then spent several years working in general practice and this is where she developed her interest in Periodontology. In 2008 she started a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) back at Guy’s Hospital. Her interest lies in the management of periodontal conditions and she has extensive experience in non-surgical and surgical therapy.
Rupal is also heavily involved in teaching. She has previously taught undergraduates at University and has been a foundation dentist trainer in general practice. She also regularly lectures on Periodontology to other dentists for the Oxford Deanery.
Hobbies include travelling and bi-yearly skiing trips
Outside of work, Rupal enjoys traveling and loves skiing.
