Rejuvenation treatments

Smile enhancements such as tooth whitening, veneers and dental implants can take years off the way you look, but they don't always address some of the other signs of ageing such as frown lines, crows feet and thread veins.

At Dental Arts Studio, we are pleased to introduce a new range of services in conjunction with two consultant plastic surgeons, Mr Raj Ragoowansi and Mr Jonathan Britto. Both NHS consultant plastic surgeons, with a private practice in central London. Raj and Jonathan offer a range of rejuvenation treatments, from lip enhancement and frown-removing Botox^TM  therapy, to chemical peels, which refresh the face and are also used to even out differences in facial skin colour and quality. Via 'Millimetre Perfect', a range of non surgical treatments can be combined to refresh, rejuvenate and regain aesthetic confidence.

Botox^TM

Now renowned throughout the UK for its instant wrinkle-removing effects, this method is best for treating facial lines that have been caused by muscle movement the 'dynamic' lines. Prime examples of these include frown lines between the eyebrows and crows feet around the eyes. Botox^TM is injected into the area to be treated, freezing the muscles so that the area relaxes, softening lines and preventing further wrinkling from occurring.

Botox therapy in expert hands can also be used to alter the balance between muscle groups in the face to reshape the eyebrows, and also give a non surgical brow lift.

Dermal fillers

Lines, wrinkles, folds and scars in the face create blemishes which emphasise shadows on the face and can make one look older. Naturally produced from bio-safe hyaluronic acids, dermal fillers are effective in restoring contour by removing age lines, and restoring youthful volume. Dermal fillers are most effective for lip enhancement and contouring. At Millimetre Perfect we have chosen those that we feel to be the safest and most effective. We will advise you at your consultation on which would be most suitable for your needs, including the well known injectables, Restylane, Perlane, and Hydra Fill®.

Skin rejuvenation

Over the years, the rate at which our skin cells are renewed slows down and this, together with the effects of sunlight, pollution and stress, affects the way our skin looks. At Millimetre Perfect we have extensive experience with chemical peels and associated skin treatment protocols (Obagi Nu-Derm® System, Obagi Blue Peel) which are tailored to the requirements of the individual client to improve complexion, and take away the years!

Thread vein removal

Thread, or spider, veins can often look unsightly as well as causing discomfort. We offer a treatment called sclerotherapy, which involves injecting a tiny amount of solution into the thread vein. This irritates the cells lining the vein, which causes the vein walls to collapse and be re-absorbed into the body. The process is virtually painless some patients report a slight burning sensation for just a few seconds. Depending on the severity of the thread veins, they gradually fade over 2-4 weeks. Occasionally, some areas may need several injections to achieve optimum results.
